Oh, am I ever angry - as a native Arizonan, as someone who considers himself a feminist, as a musician, as someone who knows what a wonderful person Nicki is, and as someone who tries to be a decent human being.

Guys like this are why people hate Los Angeles, and musicians who do stuff like this are part of the problem that chips away at the music scene. This is what makes promoters and people who run venues throw their hands up and walk away. This is what reduces opportunities for appreciative artists, those of us who actually value the people who put in the hard work to make shows happen.

Hey Daniel… don’t call women names (or anybody, for that matter). Don’t utilize female anatomy as an insult, therefore implying that to be a woman is bad. Don’t put down the state that I was born in and where I made my home for 28 years. Don’t insult my friend Nicki. And don’t expect big rock ‘n roll success for your band Spence. Life may be short, but when it comes to self-entitled, sexist, misogynist, jerky behavior, memories are long. I may have to share L.A., this awesome city I call home, with you. But that doesn’t mean you and your attitude are welcome here.
